Sadhana Wallpapers is created by the Vedic Sadhana Foundation — a non-profit devoted to reviving the timeless practices of Sanatana Dharma and bringing them, gently, into everyday life through technology.
Vedic Sadhana Foundation exists to keep an ancient flame alive. For thousands of years, the practices of mantra, meditation, and devotion have been carried from teacher to student in an unbroken line. As life grows faster and more distracted, the Foundation's purpose is to make these practices accessible again — not by diluting them, but by meeting people where they already are: on the screen in their hand.
Across a family of devotional apps and experiences, the Foundation's work is guided by a single conviction — that the sacred need not be confined to a temple or a fixed hour of the day. A mantra, a moment of stillness, a glance at the Divine, can be woven into ordinary life. Sadhana Wallpapers is one expression of that idea: a small, daily return to remembrance, renewed each morning on your screen.
Reviving Vedic and devotional practice for everyone, irrespective of caste, creed, gender, or nationality — anyone who feels a pull toward the sacred.
Drawing on lineage and scripture, so that what we offer honours the traditions that inspire it.
The Foundation's work is an offering, not an enterprise — created in a spirit of seva, or selfless service.
Bringing remembrance of the Divine into the rhythm of an ordinary day, one quiet moment at a time.
Om SwamiFounder
The Foundation was founded by the revered monk Om Swami, and it is from his vision and devotion that all of its work flows.
Once a serial entrepreneur whose businesses spanned five continents, Om Swami renounced his worldly success in 2010 to walk a spiritual path. After intense tapas — months of meditation in the caves and forests of the Himalayas — he settled in a remote valley in Himachal Pradesh, beside the ever-murmuring Giri Ganga river, and founded Sri Badrika Ashram in 2011. There he set himself to reviving the dormant practices of Dhyana Yoga and Mantra Sadhana.
An accomplished Devi Upasaka who has practised mantra sadhana since the age of eleven and spent many thousands of hours in meditation, Om Swami has devoted himself to simplifying these ancient processes for modern seekers. He is the author of fifteen bestselling books on meditation, mantras, and wellness, and shares his wisdom freely through his writing and recordings. His simple mantra — Live, Love, Laugh, Give — is the spirit behind everything the Foundation undertakes.
Ultimately, it's not about meditation or belief in some scripture or religion — it's about flowing with the river of life, living with compassion and gratitude.— Om Swami, A Million Thoughts
In keeping with his nature, Om Swami remains a quiet, guiding presence rather than a public face. You will not find his image looking back at you from within this app. His contribution lives instead in what the app carries — in the spirit of devotion, the fidelity to tradition, and the care with which each experience is made. The work is offered as a tribute to Sanatana Dharma, and the light it hopes to kindle is meant to point not to any one person, but to the Divine itself.
Seen this way, Sadhana Wallpapers is more than a collection of beautiful images. It is a small daily practice — a way to keep the sacred in sight amid a busy life, and to let a glance at your screen become a moment of darshan. Whether you follow a single beloved deity or watch an epic unfold one chapter at a time, our hope is the same: that something of the peace and devotion at the heart of this tradition reaches you, each and every day.
